· Taken action to insure that the Clerk of Courts Office is fully automated - criminal information is currently available at no cost at http://ujsportal.pacouts.us
· Taken advantage of opportunities to insure that the Clerk’s Office was one of the first offices in the County to begin scanning. Documents are scanned back to 2001. Eventually, all criminal documents (back to 1781) will be scanned, eliminating the need for storage locally
· Applied for and obtained several state grants that were utilized to establish the Clerk of Courts Collections Department
· Applied for and obtained several state grants to scan Road Dockets and files
· Taken action to insure that the Clerk of Courts Office was one of the first in the state to utilize credit agencies to aid in the collection of court-ordered fines, costs and restitution, which aids in placing the costs of the criminal justice system on the users, rather than the already overburdened tax payers
· Implemented the epay system that permits payments on costs, fines and restitution from anywhere in the world via the Internet
